The Story Behind Guz

The name comes from the genetics. Guz is also known as “The 19” because it descends directly from Giraffe Puzzy 19, a specific pheno selection from Doja Exclusive’s signature cross of Z (Zkittlez) x Animal Cookies BX2, bred in collaboration with Seed Junky Genetics. Bobby Ryan and the BEazy team took that Doja cut and crossed it with Lemon Up x SherBanger, stacking sour lemon fuel on top of Giraffe Puzzy’s candy-cookie backbone. The result is a strain that tastes like a lemon grove next to a gas station and puts you to sleep like nothing else. BEazy is an L.A.-based operation known for flavour-first breeding. Bobby has always said he chases terps over THC numbers, and Guz by BEazy is proof that approach works: 28-29% THC with a terpene profile that actually delivers on the bag appeal.

The Nose

Open the pack and Lemon hits hard, sharp and unmistakable. Right behind it, a heavy Sour tang rises as the nugs breathe. Then Gassy funk pushes through underneath, grounding all that citrus brightness. Citrus weaves through the whole profile, while zest lingers on your fingers after you break a bud apart. Limonene drives the citrus pop, lemon zest brightness that dominates the front. Caryophyllene adds a peppery kick, spicy wood that cuts through the sweetness. Myrcene anchors everything with musky, herbal, earthy base. Dense, frosty nugs with a thick trichome coat and a smell that fills the room the second you crack the seal.

The Smoke

First pull opens with lemon across the palate, clean and bright, with sour on the exhale. Smooth and full. Mid-joint, the gassy undertone pushes forward as the Caryophyllene activates, and citrus sweetness builds behind it. Near the roach, the Myrcene concentrates in the resin ring, thickening the smoke with that herbal, earthy base note. White ash from start to finish.

The High

The hit comes fast. Energetic and Euphoric set in within minutes, a bright cerebral rush from the Lemon Up side of the genetics. For the first ten minutes you feel lifted, alert, almost functional. Then the Relaxed wave rolls in through the body, shoulders dropping, tension dissolving. That is the Giraffe Puzzy influence taking over. By the 30-minute mark, Heavy body weight settles in and Sleepy follows right behind it. Your eyelids get heavy, the couch wins, and the night is over. At this potency, Guz does not leave much room for a second activity.
