Fish Bone-7g

Fish Bone by The Tenco

Fish Bone by The Tenco is a balanced hybrid (55/45) that crosses Blue Zushi into Headbanger, splicing the brand’s candy-gas Zushi line into their diesel-soaked Headbanger line. At 24-30% THC, it leads with loud gassy diesel and runs a creative, clearheaded high. Best for day or night.

The Story Behind Fish Bone by The Tenco

The name is a map of the genetics. The Tenco runs two big lines: a Zushi and seafood family (Blue Zushi, Beluga Caviar, Black Cod) and a Headbanger and steak family (T-Bone, Ribeye, both Headbanger phenos). Fish Bone marries the two, “Fish” from the Zushi side and “Bone” from the Headbanger side. Under the hood that means Blue Zushi (Zkittlez crossed with Kush Mints) bred into Headbanger (Sour Diesel IBL crossed with Biker Kush, a Karma Genetics cut that placed at the 2013 High Times Cup).

So you get Blue Zushi’s candy-gas sweetness running into Headbanger’s sharp diesel fuel. We will be honest about the paper trail: the cross was disclosed by a single review and The Tenco does not publish its own breeding notes, so treat the exact lineage as one-source. Everything else here is read from the two parents, both of which we carry and have profiled. This cut comes from The Tenco.

The Nose

It comes out swinging with fuel. A loud Gassy punch hits first, all sharp Diesel from the Headbanger side, then a Sweet candy roundness rolls up underneath from the Blue Zushi parent. A dark Berry note sits in the middle, with an Earthy depth and a fresh Pine snap rounding out the back. That diesel-pepper bite is the Caryophyllene and Myrcene working together, while a thread of Limonene keeps it lively and a touch of Linalool softens the edges. No lab sheet from The Tenco, so the terpene read is off the nose, not a panel.

The Smoke

The fuel carries straight onto the palate. That gassy, diesel sharpness leads the inhale, thick and oily, then the sweet Zushi candy fills in on the exhale and takes the harsh edge off. As you work down the joint, the berry and earthy notes deepen while the smoke stays heavy without scratching. It burns slow and resinous, the kind of pack that coats the glass.

The High

It opens up top, cerebral and quick. A Creative spark lands first, the kind that gets ideas moving, followed by a bright Euphoric lift and a sharp Focused clarity off the Headbanger diesel side. Uplifting energy keeps it forward-moving, with a light Tingly buzz in the body and a Relaxed ease settling in later from the Zushi half. You stay functional throughout, more head than couch. The Sour Diesel in the lineage shows up loud and clear: alert, busy, productive.

Who Should Try Fish Bone by The Tenco?

Reach for this when you want a gassy, head-forward hybrid that keeps you switched on. At 24-30% THC it is a heavy hitter, so it rewards experienced smokers more than first-timers. If you deal with stress, low mood, fatigue, or a missing appetite, the uplifting and creative character covers a lot of daytime ground. One caveat: anxiety risk sits at medium thanks to that potent Headbanger diesel side, so if you tend to overthink on strong sativas, take it slow and let the first few minutes settle before you reach for more.
