Zebraz

Zebraz by BEazy

Zebraz by BEazy is an indica-leaning hybrid (40/60) built on Zkittlez-based genetics, hand-selected by BEazy founder Bobby Ryan for its cerebral, creative punch. At 22-28% THC, this flagship cut opens with candy-grape sweetness layered over tropical fruit and a sour gassy finish, then lifts you into a focused, uplifting head high that defies its indica-leaning structure. Best for daytime use.

The Story Behind Zebraz by BEazy

BEazy is Bobby Ryan, a Boston native who built his cannabis brand in L.A. through bold packaging, loud flower, and a philosophy that puts flavour ahead of everything. His Zoo collection is an animal-themed strain roster, and Zebraz is the one that started it all. Before OtterZ, RhinoZ, PenguinZ, or PeacockZ existed, Bobby was running Zebraz as his personal daily smoke and sharing it with anyone who would listen. It caught fire because it did something unexpected: a Zkittlez cross that actually keeps you moving.

Bobby selected this specific phenotype for its cerebral effects rather than the couch-lock that most Z-family strains produce. In a market flooded with sedative indicas, that distinction matters. The candy-grape-tropical profile is classic Zkittlez through and through, but the focused, creative head high is entirely BEazy’s pheno selection at work. Limonene and Linalool dominate the terpene profile, keeping the mood elevated and clear. Meanwhile, Myrcene and Caryophyllene provide just enough body presence to round the experience out without dragging it down. Zebraz became BEazy’s flagship because it proved that Z genetics could go upward instead of inward, and every Zoo strain since has been built on that same principle.

The Nose

Open the pack and sweet candy hits immediately, bright and sugary, like unwrapping a bag of fruit chews. Right behind it, grape pushes through with a dark, ripe intensity that leans toward concord rather than table grape. As the nugs breathe, candy sharpens into something almost confectionary while fruity layers open up underneath. Break a bud apart and berry comes forward, jammy and sweet, mixed with a tropical undercurrent of mango and passionfruit. Then the gas surfaces. A sour, gassy funk hides beneath all that sweetness, courtesy of the Caryophyllene and Myrcene working together at the base. Limonene keeps the top end sparkling with citrus brightness, and Linalool weaves a delicate floral thread through the whole profile. Dense, colourful nugs with purple streaks, orange pistils, and a frosty trichome blanket that leaves your fingers sticky on the break.

The Smoke

The first pull lands sweet and grape across the tongue, pure Zkittlez candy that coats the palate. Smooth inhale with zero harshness, just fruit and sugar. On the exhale, tropical notes push forward as the Limonene brightens everything, followed by a sour tang that sharpens the finish. Midway through the joint, the candy and berry intensify as resin builds in the paper. Then the gassy undertone surfaces in the back half, grounding all that sweetness with peppery warmth from the Caryophyllene. The flavour evolves with every pull instead of flattening out. Toward the roach, Myrcene and Linalool concentrate in the resin ring, adding herbal depth and a soft floral close. Slow burn, even ring, white ash from start to finish.

The High

Zebraz by BEazy starts in the head and stays there. Within minutes, a bright creative spark fires up behind the eyes, and ideas start connecting faster than usual. Almost immediately, a clear focused energy locks in alongside it, sharpening your attention rather than scattering it. A warm euphoric wave rolls through next, lifting the mood and colouring everything with optimism. This is the cerebral head high that Bobby selected for: present, productive, engaged.

As the high develops, uplifting energy builds steadily, making you want to move, create, or start a conversation. Happy warmth settles into the background like a soundtrack you forgot was playing. A gentle relaxation arrives in the body around the fifteen-minute mark, loosening tension in the shoulders and jaw without pulling you toward the couch. The head high remains the dominant feature throughout, keeping you mentally sharp while the body softens just enough to feel comfortable. At 22-28% THC, the ride is smooth and controlled, building in layers rather than hitting all at once.

Who Should Try Zebraz by BEazy?

At moderate potency with low anxiety risk, Zebraz by BEazy is one of the most approachable daytime strains in the Zoo collection. The cerebral, creative high paired with low sleepiness makes it ideal for morning sessions, studio work, or any situation where you want to feel lifted without getting locked down. Newer smokers will find the moderate THC range forgiving, while seasoned heads will appreciate the terpene complexity and the way the Zkittlez genetics translate into genuine focus rather than the usual indica fog.

On the medical side, Zebraz is a natural fit for stress, depression, fatigue, pain, and anxiety. The Limonene-forward terpene profile supports mood elevation, and the low anxiety risk means you can smoke with confidence rather than second-guessing every pull. The combination of mental clarity and gentle body relaxation makes this versatile for daytime medical use without compromising productivity. If you have been looking for a Z-strain that keeps you functional and creative, Zebraz is the one that started BEazy’s entire Zoo for a reason. Explore the full collection from BEazy on Instagram.
